Charities working together for Bushfire Relief
A big thank you to Tara locals Ren & Kezza!
Their home was spared from the fires but many of their neighbours’ houses weren’t. They fought the fires beside their mates to save what they could. These guys, and their mates are local hero’s! Their transport business is “Ren & Kezzas Transport”. They came to our Logan depot yesterday and picked up pallets of potato, sweet potato, drinks, eggs, beans and tinned goods to distribute to those in need. Thank you Foodbank Qld for your help.
The wonderful people from the “Candle & Chimes” store at the corner of Miln St & Sara St Tara have offered a section of their property as a base for Ren & Kezza to distribute from. They are there from today to help their community.
There is more coming, so please contact us if you would like to donate to the victims of the fires. No clothes needed, but dry & tinned goods, toiletries etc. Basically any goods that can be used by people living in tents or caravans.
